The Royal Ascot Room

The Royal Ascot Room is truly the centerpiece of the Inn, not only because of its unusual architecture but also because it is our main gathering area. It is a beautiful room with soaring cathedral ceilings and a unique galleried landing with intricate, gold leafed wrought iron railings. At the far end of the gallery is a lounge area for Inn guests to spend a quiet evening playing chess, watching the satellite television, or simply reading that dog-eared paperback. For those gifted in music, try the state of the art digital grand piano on the lower floor, or play your favorite CD on our top of the line audio system.

The lower floor of the Royal Ascot Room doubles as our breakfast area, where you will be seated each morning at restaurant style tables private enough to ensure your conversation remains intimate. It is also home to our antique English Bar styled with inlaid wood and Italian tiles. If only the bar could speak, it would recall many tall tales told during pleasant evenings spent in conversations- some hushed, some boisterous- with our inn guests-turned friends, our favorite people.

Either the upper or the lower floor of the Royal Ascot Room can easily be used for meetings, lunches or other activities. Please ask the Inn staff when you call to book the use of this spacious, wonderfully decorated room.
